Pat McGreevy, PhD, is a retired scientist and amateur historian from Glencoe.  As a Calaveras Parks & Recreation Commissioner, he spends long hours mapping trails and developing a County-wide trail system that is found online at CalaverasOutside.net. This catalog includes some 75 outings with pocket guides that feature maps and interpretative information on the artifacts found along the way, from the Gold Rush to current land management. He is often found in a Mokelumne Hill pub with the local hikers and history buffs in deep discussion over a beer and burger. He lives in Glencoe.
